Often regarded as a satellite city of Mumbai, the city of Pune has grown exponentially in the last few decades. Mainly famous for its educational and defense institutions, the city slowly but surely made its mark in the industrial sector as well. Today, Pune city and the surrounding areas boast of some of the premier automobile and IT firms. All these factors have led to a booming real estate sector.

Property Matters

In the last few years, Pune has witnessed frenzied real estate activities with amazing number of residential and commercial properties emerging in various localities in the city. Also, due to lack of space in some of the core areas, property developers have shifted their focus on the fringe areas leading to the development of several suburbs.

The residential sector has witnessed the most hectic activity with huge residential complexes, private townships, apartments, villas and duplex coming up. Buyers can choose from low-cost one or two bedroom apartments to high-end villas in the various suburbs of the city.

Most of the multi-building residential complexes have great modern amenities like aesthetic design, superior construction quality, swimming pool, club house, jogging tracks and gardens. Some of the popular residential suburbs in the city include Kothrud, Wakad, Kondhwa, Kharadi, Aundh, Baner, Viman Nagar and Mundhwa.

Pune also has witnessed the rise of the first ever privately-managed commercial townships like Magarpatta and Amanora. These townships are unique models that comprise of residential and commercial establishments managed by private bodies.

The commercial scene in the city has also seen a never-before rise. Apart from business firms, there are large numbers of multiplexes, shopping malls, swanking showrooms, restaurants and hotels that are driving the massive growth.

Real Estate Developers

To cater to this growing demand, there are many residential and commercial developers. Each of them is trying to create beautiful and sustainable designs to attract customers. Although the list of developers is huge, some of the prominent include Paranjape Group, Kolte Patil, Kumar Builders, D.S. Kulkarni Developers and Nirmiti Developers.
